3.4 Importing data

Section 4 contains all the background information associated with the import of

OPC data.

Action Step Menu/Button Procedure

Select the

relevant options

Get OPC data

Opens the dialog box for importing OPC data. Select the

type and source of the OPC import, as described in

section 4.

Select the type of

data import

device/Number of

Enable the required type of import.

Import the OPC server with a Full import

3a File

Import from a file containing the OPC data in the

appropriate format (offline).

Select import

online/offline

3b Local or

Remote Computer

If there is a connection to the server, import directly from

the OPC server (online)

BACnet names

4 Suggest BACnet

Object Name and

Keyname

Specify whether the name of the BACnet object is to be

derived automatically from the OPC name.

Start import

5 OK

Click to start import.

3.5 Checking the OPC server

Check the sheet that was automatically filled in during the import

operation (see also section 5.5)
