Configuration

NOTE:

The transfer speed indicates the image rate transferred to each RAS. If two remote sites (RAS) are

connecting to the DVR, the number of images transferred via network will be ‘Transfer Speed x 2’.

NOTE:

The Transfer Control option will affect the DVR’s recording performance. The number of remote sites

(RAS) connected to the DVR does not affect the recording speed. The local recording speed will be

affected only by Transfer Speed. The local recording speed will not be affected if the DVR is not

connected remotely.

NOTE:

If Transfer Control is not used, the speed of data transfer to a remote site will be the same as the local

recording speed.

z Highlight the box beside Remote Quality and press the button. Select the

image quality from Very High, High, Standard and Low.

3.10.1 LAN Setup Screen

Highlight the box beside Use dynamic IP Configuration (DHCP) and press the

button to toggle between On and Off.

NOTE:

When set to On, the IP Address, Gateway and Subnet Mask will be set automatically, so you cannot

change the LAN settings.

NOTE:

When you use the DHCP, the IP address of the DVR might be changed whenever turning the DVR on.

You can check the current IP address of the DVR in the System Information screen.

Change the numbers by highlighting them and using the Up and Down arrow

buttons to increase or decrease the number.

NOTE:

You will need to get the appropriate IP Address, Gateway, Subnet Mask and IP Port Number for each

RAS-related program (Admin, Watch, Search and Callback) from your network administrator.
