Master as a compact control for

SIMATIC S7

The SIMATIC C7 621 AS-Interface

unites in one complete housing the AS-

Interface master CP 342-2, a SIMATIC

CPU of the S7-300 class, and an OP3

operator panel. That makes it ideal for

quick and simple automation tasks that

do not require the performance of a hu-

man-machine interface. The addressing

and diagnostics of up to 31 slaves with

up to 124 inputs and outputs (no inte-

grated inputs and outputs) can be ac-

cessed and controlled directly from the

compact control. No additional address-

ing unit is required.

CP 142-2

An AS-Interface master is available for

the distributed I/O system for

PROFIBUS networks ET 200X, too. The

CP 142-2 communication processor is

connected to the ET 200X module via a

12-way connector and uses its standard

I/O range. No configuring is required for

the AS-Interface network. Up to 31

slaves can be addressed by the CP 142-

2 (124 inputs and outputs).
