The SIM card should be treated
with the same care as a cheque
guarantee card. Do not bend or
scratch it or expose it to static
electricity.
Clean the card with a damp cloth
or anti-static wipe without chem-
ical cleaning agents.
To clean the battery compartment
lid, first remove it and then wash
it in warm soapy water.
Protect the phone from shocks
and moisture. Never leave your
phone in direct sunlight
(max. 55°C)
If possible, only charge fully dis-
charged NiMH batteries (check
battery charging icon).
If you experience a reduction in
standby time, carry out the bat-
tery care function to regenerate
the battery (see page 52).
Remove the battery if you are not
going to use the phone for ex-
tended periods of time
