Using Java Midlets
Java midlets are small programs that are executed local-
ly in the optiPoint 600 office and which serve to provide
different functions.
These may include applications with notepad, calculator
or phone directory functions, for example.
General operation of the "Æ page 145" register is ex-
plained below, followed by the description of an exam-
ple midlet: "SpeedDialApplet" .
General Operation
The "Java" tab offers you an interface that lets you add
additional functions to your optiPoint 600 office. The op-
eration of this interface is always the same.
Click on Register to call up the list of midlets available in
your optiPoint 600 office. "SpeedDialApplet" " is offered
as standard.
To load other midlets onto the optiPoint 600 office you
will need to ask the qualified staff in charge.
