Annual Maintenance Agreements

Us: After expiration of the warranty period, maintenance agreements are available on an annual

basis, which include unlimited technical support and product updates. Regular product releases are

made adding new features and capabilities. Users are notified regularly by email of updates as they

become available for download from our website (www.fast-soft.com).

Them: No updates available. TISOFT development has been terminated.

Customer Service

Us: We pride ourselves on our personalized support. You no longer have to negotiate an impersonal

phone support system or wait for a call back to get help. Get to know your FasTrak support

representative on a "first name" basis. This is typical of our "hand-shake" customer relationship. As a

software only company, we are optimally structured to service and support software products. We

provide direct support of our software including access to the engineers who designed and wrote 505

WorkShop.

Them: As a multi-billion dollar corporation, Siemens is structured to support thousands of

predominantly hardware products in hundreds of support areas. As a brand labeled product, Siemens

provides indirect product support by a service pool entrusted with the support of numerous Siemens

products. This often results in a limited level of product expertise.

Product Development/Ownership

Us: More 17 years in PLC programming business, we have a depth of experience which includes an

engineering staff averaging over 12 years of employment at FasTrak. Brand labeled by Siemens

(LAD90 for S5 processors and 505 SoftShop for TI/505 processors), Square D (SY/MATE Plus),

Westinghouse, and Cutler-Hammer, many PLC manufacturers have recognized and depended on

FasTrak's engineering expertise.

Them: Shortly after acquiring the automation business of Texas Instruments including the TI505

processors and the TISOFT software product, Siemens struck a deal with FasTrak to brand label the

FasTrak 505 WorkShop, which supported the TI 505 processors, as 505 SoftShop. As a complete

Windows upgrade for TISOFT, 505 SoftShop was recognized as a necessary step to modernize the

programming software for the 505 processors and to enable needed functionality to be added to the

505 processors and to the programming software.
