2500-R4 / 2500-R8 / 2500-R16 Four, Eight & Sixteen Slot Base

The 2500-R4 / R8 / R16 provides four, eight or sixteen slots for industrial I/O for your

CTI 2500 Series or Simatic

505 system. The bases provide space for a 3-slot wide power

supply, a dual-wide CPU or Remote Base Controller (RBC), and slots for up to 16 I/O

modules. Mounting may be achieved by front or rear mounting hardware.

The 2500-RBC Profibus Remote Base Controller

(RBC), allows a CTI 2500 Series or Simatic

base to function as a slave node on a PROFIBUS-

DP I/O channel. The Remote Base Controller is

intended to be a replacement for the Siemens

6870 RBC.
