Charging the transmitter
You will need to charge the transmitter before first use.
Connect the transmitter with the power plug to a power supply. While charging
the LED shines red.
Note: Charging time is about 5 hours depending on the status of the
rechargeable battery.
Turning the transmitter on/off
Use the on/off switch on the transmitter to turn the transmitter on. The LED
flashes blue while searching for a connection to the miniTek, then the LED shines
blue.
Note: to turn the transmitter off, use the on/off switch. Turn the transmitter off
when it is not in use.
Changing the sound level on the transmitter
Press the sound level button on the transmitter to change the volume of the
audio signal. The LED flashes blue. The number of times the LED flashes (up to 5),
indicates the volume level.
Using the transmitter
Press the on/off button on the miniTek for about 3 seconds to turn miniTek on.
Turn the transmitter on with the on/off switch.
Use one of the supplied cables to connect the transmitter to the TV or stereo.
Connect the transmitter with the power plug to a power supply or charge the
rechargeable battery regularly.
Press the Audio source button on miniTek to change to the audio program.
The Audio source button on the miniTek flashes while searching for a connection
to the transmitter and shines constantly after it is established. The LED on the
transmitter confirms that the Bluetooth audio link is established.
Start the audio transmission on your TV or stereo. You can now hear the sound
from your TV or stereo through your hearing instruments.
Note: You can use a second transmitter, which is available as an accessory. This
way the first transmitter can always remain connected to your preferred device
while the second transmitter is connected with another device (e.g. a second TV
in your bedroom).
