3. Now search for a Bluetooth headset, accessory or discover
Bluetooth devices on your Bluetooth device. For information
on how to do this please refer to the manufacturers instructions
or for specific mobile phone information, go to:

4. Once the discovery process has completed, the miniTek/Tek
Connect will be displayed as a device that has been found.
miniTek will be dis
played as RCU Connect and Tek Connect as
Tek Connect. Next select and then pair with the miniTek/Tek
Connect. Enter the PIN "0000" if requested.
5. Your Bluetoo
th device is now connected with your miniTek/Tek
Connect. Your Tek Connect will exit the pairing mode and return
to the normal screen. Your miniTek telephone LED will go out
when paired.
When connecting a mobile or land phone via Bluetooth, the phone
must be within 10 metres of the miniTek/Tek Connect and you can
then ans
wer the phone and hang up the phone using the Green
and Red buttons on the Tek Connect and the telephone butt
on on
the miniTek. During the telephone conversation the sound will be
relayed to your hearing instruments and you must speak into the
microphone of the miniTek/Tek Connect. Therefore, the correct
position for the miniTek/Tek Connect during a phone conversation
is directly in front of you, either on a flat surface, worn round the
neck, on jacket or top using the miniTek c
lip (miniTek only) or held
up t
o your mouth.
