Ring tones You can set the tones that sound in

specific situations to suit your partic-

ular tastes.

KRing tones

KSelect a function.

Ringer setting

On/Off Activate/deactivate all

ringtones.

Beep Reduce ringer to a short

beep.

Silent alert

To avoid being disturbed by the ring-

er, you can activate the silent alert

instead. The silent alert can also be

activated in addition to the ringer

(e.g. in a noisy environment). This

function is deactivated when the

battery is being charged.

Volume

You can set the volume for all tones.

Set volume.

Display: Beep.

j Display: Ringer off.

Note

Please make sure you have accepted the

call before holding the phone to your ear.

This will avoid your hearing possibly being

damaged by a loud ringtone.

If two independent phone numbers are reg-

istered for your phone, you can set different

volumes for them (p. 62).
